Hard Reset

Hard Reset is about second chances and fresh starts. Born from a set of paintings that had each gone awry in some way, each of the works in Hard Reset has been built up, layer by layer, through many painting sessions. Some layers are contemplative and deliberate, others natural and intuitive; like the ongoing intentional, yet unpredictable, evolution we experience throughout life. The result is a collection of paintings that are entirely unlike their original selves, with each layer of paint both obscuring and also informed by the layers that came before.
